All of those things might be helpful for you, but according to one of the longest-running studies ever, the one thing that clearly led to happiness, longevity, and improved well-being for its participants was social connectivity.



In this TED talk about the study, Robert Waldinger puts it simply when he points out that the biggest takeaway from 75 years worth of research is that “good relationships make us happier and healthier.” This means getting connected to the community, to your family, and to your friends.
